Recycling

Marfa Receiving & Recycling Center is open Monday-Saturday, 8-11:45 and 1-4:45. It is located next to the Marfa Municipal Golf Course at the dead end of FM 1112, also known as Golf Course Road. 

Through grant-funding, the City of Marfa periodically offers Bulky Waste Days and Tire Recycling Days when possible in order to help citizens dispose of these items responsibly and affordably. Information on dates for these events will be posted in advance. The City’s aim is to make Marfa clean, healthy and safe for all residents and visitors.  In addition to community clean-up events, the everyday contribution of citizens to reducing, reusing and recycling efforts will continue to lighten what goes in the landfill.
