Public Works

Marfa's Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the city's streets, drainage facilities, water supply and distribution, and wastewater collection and treatment facilities.

In addition to its regular operations and daily administrative activities, the department assists and works with the city engineer to develop water, wastewater, street and drainage maintenance plans, coordinate complex construction projects, and ensure construction plans are compliant with laws and ordinances.
