Marfa Parks Board Seeks Input from Local Parents on Coffield Park Playground

The City of Marfa Parks and Recreation Board is considering options for new playground equipment at Coffield Park. The board has allocated funds for this project from its sales tax revenue and has recently found potential opportunities for additional support.

Parents and others with an interest in kid’s recreation are invited to give their input. What are your kids’ favorite local public playgrounds? When you travel to other communities, what playground equipment do your children like the most? What equipment would you like to see at Coffield?

Please email your thoughts and ideas to Mayor Ann Marie Nafziger, and Mayor Pro-Tem and Parks Board President Manuel Baeza, or attend the next Parks Board meeting on Thursday, July 12 at 6:00 pm in the Casner Room at City Hall
