If you have an outstanding ticket with the City of Marfa Municipal Court, please contact them BEFORE 1-18-24 to take care of your fines and avoid arrest.

The Marfa Municipal Court hears criminal cases occurring within the city limits of Marfa, Texas, that involve violations of city ordinances or state laws punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. If the violation involves fire safety, zoning, or public health and sanitation, then the offense is punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000. The Court also has limited civil jurisdiction as set out by state statute in matters such as dangerous dogs and juvenile magistrations. Decisions from the Marfa Municipal Court may be appealed to the Presidio County Court.
